Practice makes perfect!

With the countdown to Olivia's first taste of cereal in full swing we have been practicing sitting in the Bumbo lots and lots. She has always liked her Bumbo but this week I added the tray into the mix and she was not impressed. Then after some practice and lots of reassuring and mommy acting like an idiot to calm her down... she now likes the Bumbo again!

A Day at the Park!

It was such a beautiful day that we decided to take Olivia to the park to have her first swing experience. She loved it. She went in a baby swing by herself and smiled as she swayed back and forth. It's so hard to believe that she is big enough to do this!

It was one year ago today...

... that I (mommy) peed on a stick (sorry if that is too much information but it's the truth) and we found out we were going to be a family of three. We are so blessed to have this little angel in our lives. We love you, punky girl!

Pretty in Pink

We (and by "we" I mean "me") had another "dress up Livy after her bath" night. Grandma bought Olivia a very pretty pink, frilly dress when I was still pregnant and she has never had an elegant event to wear it to. So... I of course had to try it on her and see what it looked like before she out grew it. She was very funny while wearing the dress and thought it was great fun to pull the dress up over her head!
